Membership Register Amendments from Amman Chamber of Commerce

Estimated Fee:

1. As regards the capital amendments, and if the capital is within the same class or of a higher class to a lower class, the fees required will be as follows:

Merchant (Establishment/Company) with a capital of five thousand Dinars and more: Fees will be four Dinars.

Merchant (Establishment/Company) with a capital less than five thousand Dinars: Fees will be Two Dinars.

2. But if capital amendments are from a lower class to a higher class, the difference in terms of registration and subscription will be paid according to the higher class.

3. As for other amendments noted on the Membership Certificate such as Company Name, Commercial Name, location, building owner and objectives, fees will be as follows:

Merchant (Establishment/Company) with a capital of five thousand Dinars and more: Fees will be four Dinars.

Merchant (Establishment/Company) with a capital less than five thousand Dinars: Fees will be Two Dinars.

4. No fees shall be collected for other amendments which are not noted on the Membership Certificate such as Company names, shares, authorized signatories, postal and electronic address, fax and telephone numbers.

Procedures

1. Refer to the Information Desk to ascertain the documents required and to obtain a (turn) number.

2. Wait at the hall designated for visitors to the Members Services Department until your number is called through the automatic calling machine.

3. After receiving the application, the employee will enter the necessary data into the computer, and after concluding such entry the application will become ready for paying the fees.

4. After paying the fees, the incumbent will be handed the Membership Certificate stamped with the (ACC) stamp and signed by the employee authorized to sign on behalf of the (ACC).

 

Required Documents

1. In order to make amendments related to capital, authorized signatories, Company name, partners, names and shares, commercial name, establishment or Company’s objectives, the following documents should be presented:

      Letter or request in writing to make location amendment signed by person authorized to sign on administrative matters.

      Amended Commercial Register of individual establishments or general or limited partnerships Document indicating Company capital, partners’ names and shares, authorized signatories after amendment for public and private shareholding companies, exempt companies along with companies registered within the Free Zones.

      Amended Commercial Register for foreign companies operating in the Kingdom.Certificate of amended Commercial Name issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

2. In order to amend the establishment or company’s location and address, it is necessary to present the lease contract or ownership document, and to sign a letter or request in writing for amendment signed by the person(s) authorized to sign on administrative matters.

 

In case of adding or canceling a branch(es) of any institution / company, ACC charges four dinars as adjustment fees if the institution / company's capital is five thousand dinars or more, and only two dinars if the institution / company's capital is less than five thousand dinars.

 

 3. In order to amend the postal and electronic address or telephone or fax numbers, it is not necessary to present any documents apart from the request made by the (ACC) member either in writing or orally or via telephone after filling out an Information Updating Form for members.
