Request for a Submission Number for Musical Compositions

Conditions for obtaining service

• The artistic work shall be national (the author, producer or the like shall be Jordanian or non-Jordanian and resides in Jordan)

Notes

• If it is not possible to print/produce the artistic work during the same year, when the deposit number has been procured, the deposit number shall be null and void and the number shall be renewed.
• The center shall implement the provisions of articles of the deposit mentioned in the Deposit Regulations No. (4) of 1994 and the articles (38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45 and 52) of Copyright Law No. (22) of 1992 and its amendments.

Procedures

1. The service recipient shall fill a deposit number form for the musical artistic work.
2. The employee shall enter the application data to determine the necessary deposit number.
3. Printing two copies from the official letter that includes the deposit number.
4. Referring the official letter to the director general or his authorized person to sign the same.
5. Handing over copy of the official letter to the concerned person to record the deposit number in an apparent place of the artistic work.
6. Actual deposit:
• Handing over one copy of the artistic work to the deposit center for purpose of deposit.
• Entering the actual deposit data and printing deposit notice for the artistic work other than the books (indicating to termination of the transaction).

Required Documents

Songs words:
• Hard copy of the words of the lyric poem wanted to be registered, which shall be kept with the transaction.
• Written authorization from the author to the person authorized to fill the application.

Musical Artistic Works:
• Copy of company registration certificate (recent).
• Copy of work permit issued by Media Authority.
• Copy of certificate of authorized signatories for the company (recent).
• Copy of the contracts concluded between the parties duly participating in the work.
• Written authorization for the applicant signed by the authorized signatory for the company.
• Copy of the work under execution for keeping with the transaction.
