Conditions for obtaining service
Submit a request to study chemicals available in the establishment or those to be imported.

- Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology.
- Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources.
Procedures
- Transferring the application by the engineering division to determine its seriousness or the applicant shall submit a formal request or receipt of a letter through the licensing authority to study the chemicals.
- The study officer in the Department of Chemicals and Environment shall study these materials in terms of their degree of seriousness, flammability, and storage and handling conditions based on the approved computer systems and document them on the relevant forms and keeping them in the establishment file.
- The application shall be returned to the engineering division to take the necessary action or to communicate the concerned parties the licensing authority with the results of the study and recommendations.
Required Documents
- Names of the scientific materials to be imported, manufactured or stored.
- General MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for each material of the manufacturer.
