Conditions for obtaining service

1- The vehicle must be subject to deletion process and modernization replacement.

2- The vehicle licensing should not be expired for a period exceeding two years.

3- The vehicle should not be among the vehicles of investment companies.

4- To be registered as a sole institution or company.

5- Providing a performance bond/ bank guarantee of 500 JDs or payment of the guarantee amount in the body’s Fund.

Procedures

  • The applicant shall refer to the related region to fill the application attached with the required documents.
  • Refer to the cashier for deletion fees payment as instructed.
  • The application is transferred to the public services employee after auditing the application and the documents to the General Administration / Passengers Transport Directorate / Licensing Department.
  • The Licensing Department examines the application and if the conditions apply, official letter is prepared and signed by the General Director addressed to (Jordan Customs, Income and Sales Tax Department, Vehicle and Driver’s License Registration).
  • The applicant refers to the three departments and refers to the region to update the vehicle’s data after the completion of the process.
A new vehicle permit is issued and delivered to the applicant.

Required Documents

Prior to acquiring (Approval):

  • A copy of the vehicle ownership license.
  • A copy of vehicle permit.
  • If the vehicle belongs to a managing activities and role regulation company a clearance from the company should be provided.
  • Bank guarantee or financial receipt with the guarantee amount paid in the body’s fund.

After acquiring (Approval):

  • Providing Vehicle and Driver’s License Registration annotations.
