Conditions for obtaining service
- The concerned party must be present in person or the authorized representatives.
- All the offices to be merged must be licensed.
- The minimum of cars should be available and according to the governorate based on the merging method.

Procedures
- The applicant refers to the receptionist to fill a requisition by the owners of the taxi offices intending to merge and their signature in front of the receptionist attached with all the required documents.
- The applicant refers to the cashier to pay the fees of field inspection if the merge is at a new office.
- Conducting a field inspection in case of approval and transferring the application to the receptionist.
- The receptionist audits the application and transfers it to the region director.
- The region director transfers the application to the administration.
- The application is transferred to the licensing department to be audited and studied and assigned.
- The application is transferred to the director of the directorate of passengers’ transport and is transferred to the general manager.
- If the approval was not granted an official letter is issued stating the reasons for rejection.
- If approved an official letter is prepared with the preliminary approval and addressing the Ministry of Industry and Trade to cancel the commercial registers of the merged offices, and issuing a new commercial register for the merger office and/or keeping the commercial register of the office selected as a merger office.
- The licensing department signs an operational contract with the office owner and the body.
- if all required documents were provided from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the applicant is provided with bank guarantee form amounting 5,000 Dinars.
- The applicant submits the guarantee to the licensing department, and the Vehicle and Driver’s License Registration is addressed to release the main cars and changing the print label with the name of the merger office.
- The applicant provides the licensing department with the required documents from the licensing registration.
- Addressing the Information Technology unit to issue new permits for the cars of the merger office.
- The new permits are received by the authorized representative of the merger office from the region or the concerned office.
Required Documents
- A copy of the ID of the owners of the offices to be merged.
- A written authorization official letter certified by an approved party.
- A copy of the valid permits and licenses of ownership of the working vehicles for each office.
- A copy of the commercial registers of the offices intending to merge.
- A document that includes the annotations of the reality and mortgages of the cars from the licensing registration.
- Practicing the works of passengers’ public transport permit for the office valid at the time of submitting the application.
- Valid copies of the guarantees of the offices intending to merge (for the office and the cars).
- A valid vocational license from the competent municipality for the offices intending to merge, working for each office and valid at the time submitting the application.
- A list of the numbers of vehicles working in the offices.
