Conditions for obtaining service

  • The capital shouldn’t be less than (50,000) fifty JD.
  • An office with an area of (50) square meters equipped with a telephone, a fax and a sign.
  • A Jordanian manager holding high school certificate as a minimum.
  • The administrative staff shouldn’t be less than three employees including the manager.
  • The application is submitted personally by the applicant or the representative by a written authorization.

Procedures

  • A duly filled approved service application is provided attached with all the documents for the Freight Transport Directorate.
  • Providing the applicant with a follow-up card and a bank guarantee form for a period of one year presented by a commercial bank amounting (5,000) five thousand dinars for the body unconditioned and payable when required in accordance with the approved form.
  • The application and the documents are audited and transferred to corporate licensing department in the directorate to schedule an appointment for field inspection.  
  • The service applicant is provided with a collection warrant for the payment of inspection fees to the cashier.
  • The corporate licensing department examines the applications and verifies the accuracy of the data and documents.
  • The corporate licensing department conducts the field inspection and prepares field inspection report on the location of the applicant and assigning the service application.
  • If the inspection report complies with the required conditions, the applicant pays

Required Documents

  • A new commercial register from the Ministry of Industry and Trade stating the purposes and the capital in addition to the names of the partners.
  • A certified lease contract or certificate of registration of the company’s office recently issued.
  • A copy of the Manager’s ID and qualification.
  • A certificate from the Social Security Corporation for the workers.
  • Bank guarantee for the Land Transport Regulatory Commission in accordance with the approved form.
