The course fees are JD 145 (for Jordanians) as follows:
JD10 admission test fee
120 JD Course fees
JD 15 against issuing the license and certificate (after passing the coursAe requirements)

20 JD against issuing the license and certificate (after passing the requirements of the course)

Conditions for obtaining service
• Applicant should be at least 18 years of age at the start of the course.
• Able to read and write (literate).
• Physically fit; attested by a certified affidavit.
• Pass the admission test.
• Life guarding instructions for 2012.

Procedures

- Applicant shall visit the sports training section at the center to fill out the registration form designated for the water rescue (lifeguarding) course of the selected level.
- Applicant shall pay the admission test fees for the selected course at the financial section of the Center.
- Applicant shall submit the payment voucher to the sports section, together with the required documents.
- The sports section shall determine the date and place of the admission test for the applicant.
- Applicant shall sit-in for the admission test at the specified time and place.
- The admission test committee shall refer the applicant to the financial department to pay the prescribed fees.
- Applicant/ trainee must attend the required course at the specified time and place, which usually lasts for 10-15 days.- At the end of the course, the trainee shall undergo a number of tests including civil defense first aid test, practical and theoretical test for the lifeguarding course. The minimum success score requirement for each test is 80%.
- The graduate trainee shall submit an application to the head of the sports training section to obtain the required lifeguard license.
- The application is referred to the Director of the Center for official approval.
- The graduate trainee shall then be referred to the financial department of the center to pay the license fees.
- The graduate then receives in person the lifeguarding license for the determined level from the sports section.
Required Documents
- Civil Status ID for Jordanians.
- Passport for non - Jordanians.
- Medical Fitness Certificate from the accredited Sports Medical Center.
- 2 recent personal photos.
Persons benefiting from the service
Natural persons, both males and females who wish to and are already practicing lifeguarding.
