Project Title
Environmental data bank system (EDBS).
Problem Definition (in statistics):
Realizing the importance and scarcity of water resources in Jordan and the exposure of water resources to potential pollution. Consequently, it was necessary to conduct a regular monitoring program for water resources to facilitate the monitoring and inspection of any risk of contamination of water sources.
Project Objectives
In order to increase the effectiveness of the project, facilitate the analyses procedures and save the data of results, it was necessary to develop the web site “Data Bank System” to manage the enormous data coming out of this vital project. The system grants authorized users, within certain powers, access to the results of analyses for all sites in the project by creating monthly and annual reports in several ways and exporting the results on charts, Excel files or other forms. As well, it links the sites with a geographical map of Jordan.
Sustainable Development Goals that the project achieve
