1.        Agreement Terms

      All and any access to the Jordan e-Government Portal ("this Website") is governed by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not accept any of these Terms, exit immediately. If you continue, this means that you have accepted these Terms and you will be subject thereto. In these Terms, the words "we", "our" and "us" refers to the Government of Jordan.

      We reserve all rights to deny or restrict access to this Website to any particular person, or to block access from a particular Internet address to this Website, at any time, without ascribing any reasons whatsoever.

      Except as otherwise provided, the Contents of this Website shall not be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or otherwise distributed in any way, without the prior written permission of the Government. The material on this site is protected under the Jordanian Copyright Law No. (14) of 1998.

       Most of the activity at the Website involves the viewing of materials, which are made accessible to everyone so there is no need for it to be secure. However, and where appropriate, we use available technology to protect the security of communications made through the Jordan e-Government Portal.

      It is not allowed to link to this Portal from external websites without our approval. We are also not responsible or liable for the availability of services or content of any other Internet site (not provided by us) linked to or from the Jordan e-Government Portal. We reserve the right to object or disable any link or frame to or from the Jordan e-Government Portal. We reserve the right to change the URL of the Jordan e-Government Portal.        Materials, pages, documents and online graphics, audio and video in the Jordan e-Government Portal are protected by the Jordanian intellectual property laws. Apart from any fair dealings for the purposes of private study, research, criticism or review, as permitted in law, no part of the Jordan e-Government Portal may be reproduced or reused for any commercial purposes whatsoever without our prior written permission.

       The Government of Jordan shall not, at any time, be liable for any damage or loss of any kind, howsoever caused as a result (either direct or indirect) of the use of, or the inability to use, the materials and services in this Website.

c.        The Jordan e-Government Portal cannot authorize the use of copyrighted materials contained in linked websites. Users must request such authorization from the sponsor of the linked website.

e.        The accessibility and operation of the Jordan e-Government Portal relies on technologies outside our control. We do not guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of the Website.

       The Government reserves all rights to disable any links to, or frames of any site containing inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topics, names, material or information, or material or information that violates any enacted law. The Government reserves the right to disable any unauthorized links or frames and disclaims any responsibility for the content available on any other site reached by links to or from this Website or any of the Contents.

 

11.    Fees

       There are currently no fees for using any part of the Jordan e-Government Portal. We are not responsible for any fees charged by any other Internet site (not provided by us).

       The user agrees to indemnify, and hold that the Government of Jordan is insured and protected against all damages, costs and expenses, related to any violation of these conditions by himself or by any other person acting on his behalf in using this Website or transmitting or distributing any information or other elements contained therein.

       Use of the Jordan e-Government Portal and these Terms are governed by the laws of Jordan. Any claim relating to use of the Jordan e-Government Portal shall be heard by Jordanian Courts.

       We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. You should visit this page from time to time and review the current Terms because they are binding on you. We may modify or discontinue any information or features that form part of the Jordan e-Government Portal at any time, with or without notice to you, and without liability.

       Unauthorized attempts to defeat or circumvent security features, to use the system for other than intended purposes, to deny service to authorized users, to access, obtain, alter, damage, or destroy information, or otherwise to interfere with the system or its operation are prohibited and may result in criminal prosecution enacted legislation.
