Conditions for obtaining service
- All companies (international transport companies) should be licensed at the body and their registration is valid.
- Limit the period of receiving applications for granting temporary permits for foreign buses from 1/1 to 31/3 for each year.
- The application is submitted and the permits are received by the authorized signatory in the commercial register.
- The payment of all the financial obligations of the company in terms of financial allowance and financial guarantee.
- The company must adhere to the instructions issued by the body and no operational irregularities.

Procedures
- The applicant refers to the office of public service to submit the application and attach the required documents.
- The public service employee audits the application and the documents, and when the documents are completed the application is transferred to the passengers’ transport directorate.
- The passengers’ transport directorate audits and studies the application and assign it to the general manager.
- The general manager takes the right decision and submission to the passengers’ transport directorate.
- If not approved the applicant is addressed to explain the reason for rejection.
- If approved the required permits are organized and all data is entered and the required permits are obtained.
- The applicant receives the temporary permits for foreign international transport buses.
Required Documents
- A copy of the practicing certificate of the current year.
- A copy of the commercial register and trade name, the certificate of the Chamber of Commerce and vocational license for the Jordanian operator.
- A copy of ID for the authorized signatory in the commercial register.
- A copy of valid ownership licenses of the Jordanian buses.
- A copy of the transport agreement between the Jordanian operator and his agent in the corresponding country, provided that it is signed and stamped by both parties and certified by the concerned parties in the two countries.
- A copy of commercial register and practicing license of the operator in the corresponding country.
- A commitment from the agent in the corresponding country that include his obligation to load and unload from departure and arrival centers licensed and approved by the body for the Jordanian operator.
- A copy of ownership licenses of the foreign buses, clear and stamped by the agent.
