Correct name and add the national number of the owners of the land register

Conditions for obtaining service

Personal attendance of the concerned individual, his agent, the commissioned individual, or the heir.
 
There must be no national numbers for the owner on the real estate bond, in the real estate registry.
 
If there is a mistake in the name or a typo, or there is no national number on the real estate paper.

Notes

Name Correction and adding the national number: Matching the name or national number in the papers (land registry) with the civil status register and bond for Jordanians. For non-Jordanians: It must match the passport and the documents issued by these other countries.

Procedures

 

1. Refer to the receptionist and fill out the correction application + an investigation form in case the land was a result of a settlement.

2. Refer to the Registration department to indicate the mechanism though which ownership (acquisition) was made, and obtain a copy of it. 

3. You will be transferred to the civil status department to obtain a letter indicating that both names are identical for the same person. For non-Jordanians: Address the ministry of foreign affairs / if needed.

4. If the plot is resultant from settlement works and the name is identical to the civil status file, the national number shall be added through the Registration Directorate.

If the ownership mechanism is the result of a settlement and the name is not identical, an investigation form shall be prepared by a hearing officer to acknowledge in the presence of four witnesses, two of them are either close to the property or the partners, and to hear the statement and sign before him

5. A letter is sent to the settlement judge in the settlement court, by the registration director to issue the resolution to correct the name.

 

 6. After the resolution is issued, the correction order shall be concluded and given a serial number and executed on the land registry.

Required Documents

 

1. Correction Request.
2. Personal Identification or certificate of appointment for military personnel. For non-Jordanians: The passport.
3. Copy of registration bond.
4. Power of attorney, Procuration or the death certificate if the person concerned is deceased.
5. Documents proving that the plot in question belongs to the person requesting the correction (to the acknowledgment listener).
