Digital Economy ministry launched 613 e-services in 2022-Statistics

Amman, Jan. 5 (Petra)-Number of e- services launched so far by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship reached 613 on 2022, while 31 others are currently being examined, and 6 smart phone apps are now under study, the ministry's data and statistics on e-government projects, obtained by "Petra," showed.

According to the ministry, 2, 560 service cards provided by 51 service institutions on "Arees" platform have completed documentation.

In a bid to achieve a decentralized scheme, the ministry noted the first government services center was launched in Amman's Mqablain branch within Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) to house 14 government institutions and offer about 45 government services.

In addition, work is underway to kick off the second gov't services center at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), while efforts are being made to define operation scope for mobile gov't services units and set tasks of a customer satisfaction body in this regard, the ministry noted.
