PM makes surprise visit to Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship
Amman, May 25 (Petra)--Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
According to a ministry statement, Prime Minister was briefed from Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Hananded, on the latest developments in the ministry's work programs and projects.
During the visit, which coincided with a meeting of experts and specialists from the entrepreneurship sector, PM joined discussions and exchanged views on ways to support and develop Jordan's business entrepreneurship sector and listen to a group of experts in this regard.
Khasawneh instructed action to find and examine all possible ways to bridge funding gaps and support the sector's development and growth, in relation to its companies and revenues, in cooperation and coordination with the private sector and networking with similar sectors from Arab and friendly countries.
Khasawneh also underscored the "remarkable" interest and support of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, extended for the entrepreneurship sector, which contributed to making its current progress, expressing pride in Jordan's achievements in this field.
