Australia Post Global eCommerce Solutions (APG eCommerce Solutions), a leading supplier of cross-border e-commerce delivery solutions, has opened a branch in Jordan serving its Europe and North America operations.

Minister of Information and Communications Technology Muthana Gharaibeh visited the firm''s office in Amman and met with its Commercial and Operations Global Director Francois Lazzari and a number of executives.

The minister said Jordanian laws give ICT investors tax exemptions and relief in a bid to lure in more investments and make the Kingdom a regional ICT hub. He urged global companies to come to Jordan to make use of its advanced ICT infrastructure and leverage talented human capital.

Lazzari said that the opening of the company''s branch in Jordan was driven by its attractive environment and distinguished human resources, adding that the company will be able to manage the company''s business for Europe and North America from Jordan.

He pointed out that the company has started its operations in Jordan with 23 employees in the first phase and will increase the number to 50 employees before the end of the current year and 100 employees before the end of 2020.
